Grid-Tied Remote Dispatch Examples

The following examples apply to grid-tied inverters, controlling grid connection point power via Modbus registers.

All examples use Function Code 10H (Write Multiple Registers), split into two control blocks.

Control Block 1 (Common)

Before sending Control Block 2, always send Block 1 to enable Remote Dispatch:

Command: 01 10 AC 44 00 05 0A 00 01 00 05 00 00 00 00 00 00 B1 51

• 44100 = 1 (ON)
• 44101 = 5 min failsafe
• 44102–44104 = 0 (no system limit)

Example: Zero Export

Set grid connection point power to 0, meaning all PV generation is consumed locally with no export to the grid.

Control Block 2 (registers 44105–44107):

Command: 01 10 AC 49 00 03 06 00 03 00 00 00 00 4D 29

• 44105 = 3 (Grid Import/Export Control)
• 44106 = 0 (zero export)

Example: Limit Export Power to 3 kW

When PV generation exceeds local load, limit the power exported to the grid to 3 kW.

Control Block 2 (registers 44105–44107):

• 44105 = 3 (Grid Import/Export Control)
• 44106 = 30 → 3000 W export limit

Example: Import 2 kW from Grid

During peak consumption or at night, actively import 2 kW from the grid to supplement local demand.

• 44106 = -200 → 2000 W import (negative value = import)
